Apple has announced a dedicated custom EQ feature for AirPods as part of iOS 27. Revealed at WWDC 2026, the update will allow users to adjust audio settings through a new equaliser interface instead of relying on existing accessibility tools or Apple Music presets. Preview images suggest support for broad frequency adjustments alongside a real-time visual graph. Apple has not yet disclosed whether users can save multiple profiles or use the feature with third-party Bluetooth audio devices. The update arrives later this year.
