WhatsApp is developing several new features for Android and iPhone users aimed at improving privacy, security, and convenience. Reported additions include Scam Alerts for suspicious messages from unknown contacts, a dedicated Voice Note widget for Android, view-once text messages for iPhone users, and native message scheduling support. The platform is also said to be testing Meta One integration, which could bundle premium benefits across WhatsApp, Instagram, and Facebook under a single subscription. Most of these features are currently being tested in beta versions.
