Samsung has announced the ISOCELL HPC, a new 200-megapixel smartphone camera sensor that introduces its DeepPix pixel architecture to improve light capture. The sensor supports 16-bit HDR, HDR across multiple in-sensor zoom levels and video recording at up to 4K 180fps. Samsung also says it uses new optical technologies to improve colour accuracy and image clarity while supporting RAW16 output, Super QPD autofocus and burst shooting at multiple resolutions. The ISOCELL HPC is already in mass production.
