Apple is reportedly developing new versions of the Apple Pencil with USB-C and Apple Pencil Pro for launch alongside next-generation iPad Pro models in early 2027. According to Bloomberg's Mark Gurman, the refresh is expected to help Apple comply with upcoming European Union battery regulations that require easier battery replacement.
