YouTube now lets users effectively disable Shorts on Android and iPhone through a new zero-minute Shorts feed limit. The feature is available under the Time Management section in the YouTube app and removes the endless Shorts scrolling experience from the homepage. Shorts may still appear in search results, subscriptions, and shared links. The feature is rolling out globally and could help users reduce screen time and limit distractions. YouTube also allows users to manually ignore the limit if they want to continue watching Shorts after reaching the restriction.
