Google has announced that Android Parental Controls will expand to all devices running Android 17. The update brings parental supervision tools and Google Family Link features into a dedicated section of Android Settings. Parents can set screen time limits, create downtime schedules, restrict app downloads, and manage app access. Google is also increasing its US digital wellbeing fund to more than $50 million (roughly Rs. 470 crore). The announcement follows Apple's recent unveiling of new parental control features for iOS 27, iPadOS 27, and macOS 27.
