Apple is using a new internal stacking technique for its first book-style foldable to offer a relatively more repairable design, a tipster claims on Weibo. The Cupertino-based tech is reportedly employing a “reasonable and elegant" (translated from Chinese) internal stacking method, making its foldable display the “easiest” to disassemble and replace. The design is said to be free of “complex interconnected wiring”, to provide a modular design. The handset is expected to be launched later this year, along with the iPhone 18 Pro and iPhone 18 Pro Max.
