Apple on Wednesday launched its new clean energy and environmental initiatives in India, the Cupertino-based tech giant announced in a press release. As part of its new initiatives, the iPhone maker plans to invest Rs. 100 crore in the country to build renewable energy capacity. For its new green initiatives, the Tim Cook-led tech giant has partnered with the Mumbai-based renewable energy company CleanMax. Apple claims that this will help it achieve its carbon-neutral goals by 2030.
