Apple’s desktop computers, which are powered by the Cupertino-based tech giant’s proprietary M-series processors, will now support external GPUs (eGPUs), according to the tech firm Tiny Corp. The company claims that Apple has provided its approval for its drivers, which can now be used to support eGPUs on Mac devices. Tiny Corp also said that Mac computers will now support both AMD and Nvidia eGPUs via its drivers. This comes nearly half a decade after Apple introduced the first Apple Silicon M-series processor, while also removing support for eGPUs.
