Telegram has announced a major update to its platform. The update introduces a Rich Text Editor, Telegram Communities, Ephemeral Bot Messages, and an expanded GIF search with over 350 million GIFs. Rich Text Editor allows users to create formatted messages with support for headings, tables, lists, quotes, and code blocks. Telegram has also added Communities to organise related groups, channels, and bots around a shared topic.
