Binance has withdrawn its Markets in Crypto-Assets (MiCA) licence application filed with Greece’s Hellenic Capital Market Commission and plans to seek authorisation in another European Union member state. The move comes just days before the MiCA transition deadline of July 1, as crypto firms race to comply with the bloc’s new regulatory framework and maintain operations across the European Union.
