Nimbalkar cited the disadvantage of being out of power and recent local poll defeats as reasons for his switch. He also mentioned discussions with Union Home Minister Amit Shah regarding a CBI appeal in his father's murder case, assuring his stance against his uncle, Padamsinh Patil, remains unchanged.
