Microsoft has made Copilot Cowork generally available to Microsoft 365 Copilot customers worldwide after a three-month preview period. The AI-powered service is designed to automate complex tasks across multiple tools and business applications. The rollout introduces usage-based pricing, new spending controls, additional security features, browser-based actions through Edge, and expanded third-party integrations. Copilot Cowork currently supports Anthropic's Opus 4.8 and Sonnet 4.6 models, while GPT 5.5 remains available through Frontier. Microsoft also plans to launch a new model called Cowork 1.
