Samsung's rumoured Wide Fold foldable smartphone could use a 60-micrometre Ultra Thin Glass layer, according to a recent report. The thicker UTG is expected to improve crease visibility and durability compared to the 45-micrometre layer reportedly used on the Galaxy Z Fold 8. The report also claims Samsung is preparing three foldable smartphones this year, including the Galaxy Z Flip 8, Galaxy Z Fold 8, and Wide Fold. The company may later expand the thicker UTG technology to future Fold models.
