ChatGPT is rolling out to Apple CarPlay, allowing iPhone users on iOS 26.4 or later to interact with the assistant through voice while driving. The feature supports starting new chats, continuing recent conversations, and working within projects directly from the car interface. It can also launch automatically in voice mode. However, it does not access navigation, vehicle data, or other apps. Apple also integrates ChatGPT into Apple Intelligence features like Siri, Writing Tools, and visual search, with privacy controls and optional account sign-in.
