Samsung says the Galaxy Watch 6 was able to identify warning signs linked to vasovagal syncope during clinical testing. The system reportedly analysed heart rate variability data collected through the smartwatch’s PPG sensor using an AI-based prediction model. According to the company, the study achieved 84.6 percent accuracy and could detect potential fainting episodes up to five minutes in advance. Samsung has not yet announced when the capability could arrive on consumer Galaxy Watch devices.
