LinkedIn, the Microsoft-owned professional networking platform, has named Daniel Shapero as the new Chief Executive Officer (CEO). Shapero will be taking over from the outgoing CEO Ryan Roslansky, who held the position for five years and 11 months. Until April 2026, Shapero served as the Chief Operating Officer at LinkedIn, and has been associated with the company for more than 18 years. On top of this, the company has announced that its Indian-origin Senior Vice President of Engineering, Mohak Shroff, will also be assuming charge as the President, Platforms & Digital Work at Microsoft.
